As a resident, your views and experiences are important in helping us to improve our communities and shape the services we offer.
Hastoe is committed to working closely with our residents to ensure our homes and services best meet their needs. We are an early adopter of the National Housing Federation's Together with Tenants initiative, which aims to increase both landlord accountability and resident involvement.
From our resident scrutiny groups, community grant and free fruit trees, we offer lots of ways for residents to get involved in making a difference to the way we work, or directly to their local neighbourhood. Read on to find out more.

Resident involvement
There are a variety of ways that you can get involved in providing feedback, improving our services, and helping other residents with the issues that matter most to them.
-
Make a difference with our community grant
Our Community Grant fund offers up to £250 to help deliver community-based projects that will benefit Hastoe residents and their local communities.
-
Set up a community business
One of Hastoe's partners, the Plunkett Foundation, can provide you with help and advice to set up or reinvigorate a community business, such as a pub, shop or cafe.
-
Plant a tree with the Hastoe Orchard
We launched the Hastoe Orchard in 2010 to offer free fruit trees for our residents to plant in their gardens or communities. Since then, our residents have now planted over 1,300 fruit trees in their gardens or community areas, including apple, pear, cherry, plum, and quince trees.
