Hastoe wins at the Housing Innovation Awards 2014

Hastoe has won the ‘Most Innovative Use of Renewable Technology’ category at the Housing Innovation Awards 2014.

Hastoe is committed to helping residents in rural areas achieve affordable warmth and reduce fuel poverty. This award was for an innovative project installing ground source heat pumps in 77 homes in rural communities across England. Previously their heating supply was with expensive electric storage heaters.

Hastoe’s Operations Director, Anne McLoughlin, said: “We are thrilled to have won such a prestigious award. We faced some fierce competition from many key players in the industry.

“Winning this award is testament to the vision of our Board, hard work and dedication of the staff at Hastoe and our partner, ICE Energy.We are particularly thrilled that this win recognises our innovative approach to providing sustainable homes in sustainable communities.”
