If you make payments to Hastoe by Direct Debit you’ll be receiving a letter from a company called Allpay in the next few days explaining that they are taking over this service from our existing provider.
Allpay is a leader in providing payment services across the local government and social housing sector, and it is used throughout the UK. Hastoe is moving to Allpay because we believe you will get a better service.
Behind the scenes your Direct Debit mandate (the instruction to your bank to collect amounts of money from your account) will migrate from our existing provider to Allpay by 1st December. There is nothing you need to do. It all happens automatically. Everything else stays the same – the amount you pay, the date you pay and how often you pay. We just wanted to let you know about the new provider Allpay, and that you should expect a letter from them confirming this.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the change in Direct Debit system provider, please contact us.
UPDATE as of 19th November 2021
Following the migration letters being sent out, we have discovered an error whereby a number of our residents may have received letters quoting the incorrect bank account details.
This is due to an administrative error on Hastoe’s behalf, and we apologise for any confusion caused. The bank account details shown are obfuscated, so there is no risk of any malicious action being taken with them. The payments you make to us, and any other data, has not been affected by this error. We have immediately corrected this error, and residents affected by this will receive follow-up letters next week with the correct details.
You do not need to take any action, but please contact us if you have any concerns.
