To ensure we remain compliant with new legislation, we are currently carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) checks at around 1,400 homes. These checks help us confirm that your electrical supply, wiring and sockets meet current safety standards. An EICR typically takes no more than a few hours to complete.
We kindly ask for your support in giving our contractors access to your home when an appointment is arranged. This helps us complete the checks efficiently and reduces the need for repeat visits.
Under updated regulations, EICRs must now be completed every five years, rather than every ten. We have already instructed our contractors to schedule checks for all homes that will fall outside of this requirement from April next year, ensuring everything is completed on time. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps us keep every home safe and compliant.
