The Regulator of Social Housing is being given new powers to help improve the quality of housing and services for social housing tenants. To help make this happen, it is creating a set of four consumer standards and a Code of Practice to go with them.
The Regulator wants to hear from tenants about whether:
• the consumer standards they are proposing would set the right expectations for landlords
• the Code of Practice they are proposing gives helpful examples of how to meet the standards.
The consultation is made up of 9 questions and, if you want to take part, you should send your views to the Regulator by Tuesday 17 October 2023.
