Hastoe is one of England’s largest specialist rural housing associations with homes across the south of the country. About the role
As a Board Member you will be responsible for:
- Helping to set our strategic direction.
- Overseeing our financial and operational performance.
- Supporting effective governance and risk management.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and customer focus.
- Acting as an ambassador and representing Hastoe.
The role is expected to require a time commitment of around 15 days a year, including an overnight stay to attend an away day. Our meetings are held during the day and generally in London. You may also be a required to join the Audit & Risk Committee.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone to join the established Non-Executive members of our Board and contribute effectively to governing the organisation with skills and experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Corporate governance and housing regulation.
- Audit and internal controls.
- Financial accounting.
