Discover what it's like to work in our Property Services Administration team
Our Property Services Administration Team are a very important part of making sure that our residents and tenants get the best possible repairs support. The team helps to find contractors, book in repairs’ appointments, log in any overdue orders and make valuations for any property issues.
Stacey, one of our Property Services Administrators, has worked at Hastoe since April 2023 and is already a key member of the team. Here she talks us through what a day working in our Property Services Administration team might look like.
Stacey starts her day by setting up her computer and running the overdue report to see which issues need her attention first. She uses this report to filter the contractors she is looking after and gives herself time to review each job.
The next task of the day is to call the contractors for a work order update. Stacey will then use this information to contact customers and inform them of the status of their work order. She says:
Stacey has to balance the management of lots of different work orders at once. She enjoys being able to solve tenants' issues and feeling like she has done everything she can to help them. Her proudest moment at Hastoe was when there was an issue in a property regarding damp and mould. Stacey got hold of the contractor, made sure they were fully informed of the issues and got them out the next day to give the property a damp and mould wash. She said:
Stacey enjoys working within a happy and lively team. She recognises that the role comes with its challenges but that everyone works together as a team to support each other to have an enjoyable day whilst getting the work done.
