Ten of the homes at Brede are for affordable rent, whilst three are shared ownership. The affordable rent homes are made up of 3 x 3 bed houses, 5 x 2 bed houses, and 2 x 1 bed flats. The three shared ownership properties are made up of 3 x 2 bed houses.

Karen Hillhouse, Regional Head of Development for the south at Hastoe, said: “We’re delighted to see the completion of our housing scheme in Brede. We have been working hard with the parish council and local authority to get this project completed and it’s great to see the homes built.

“At Hastoe, we take great pride in helping communities retain their identity by building affordable homes intended for local people. These homes mean that local people won’t need to move away from the area that they were born in, grew up in or work in, and they will be held for the local community in perpetuity.”
