Planned Works Manager

Salary: £64,980 plus Benefits
Location: Hybrid – Saffron Walden, Essex (with occasional travel)
Hours: Full Time 35 hours 
Contract: Permanent

Reporting to our Property Director, you will be responsible for the technical management of major and cyclical works projects, ensuring procurement, delivery, technical compliance and project governance.

This role will cover our East Region and the majority of the time you will work remotely, with 1 office day a week. Although there is a Region to cover, it is worth noting the travel is not excessive, it is to meet the business needs.

About the role:

As our Planned Works Manager, you will:

Effectively manage and develop the team, ensuring that services are delivered in a customer focussed way.
Develop and deliver the planned maintenance programme for the East region in line with the 30-year investment plan and Asset Management Strategy, ensuring all is delivered within agreed budgets and KIPs.
Write and review policies and procedures for planned, responsive and void management services.

What’ll you’ll need:

HNC, HND or Degree level qualification in a building related subject
MRICS or equivalent
Minimum 5-year post qualification experience or equivalent
Proven successful project management and contract administration of planned, cyclical and major repair projects
Experience of managing works using term contracts
Good report and specification writing with experience of ISO9000 accreditation
IT competency in MS Excel and Word to immediate level
