Planned Works Manager - East

Salary:  £64,980 per annum

Location:  Saffron Walden/Home Based

Hours: 35 hours per week

We are looking for a qualified, highly motivated and experienced Planned Works Manager to join our East Region Property Team.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Planned Works Team within our East Region. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of planned works both through the managing a Team of Surveyors and directly managing complex projects yourself.  

You will also be responsible for ensuring legislative/regulatory compliance, customer consultation and delivery within the approved budget. You will also work with the Property Director to develop future programmes and assist with internal and external audits and ensure implementation of recommendations made.

About You:

Working closely with other teams within the organisation you will have exceptional organisational skills and proven experience of managing and coordinating multiple priorities effectively and on time.

You will have excellent written communication and report writing skills, writing and reviewing specification, tender and contract documents, value for money statements and policies/procedures.

You will also:

  • be a Chartered Member of the RICS or equivalent with a HNC, HND or Degree level qualification
  • have an understanding of building construction, building pathology with experience diagnosing defects and specifying remedial works
  • be an excellent people manager, with proven experience managing a remote team
  • have good knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation including CDM, Fire and Building Safety
