Community consultation: proposed new homes in Ellesborough

These homes are being developed to meet the local housing need in Ellesborough. Therefore, to live in one of our new homes you will need to have a local connection with the Parish. A local connection is when you or a member of your household currently lives in the Parish, has lived in the Parish previously, is employed in the Parish or has immediate family living in the Parish.

We are planning to build 6 new homes.

The homes will include 4 homes for rent, made up of:

• Four 2-bed houses

And 2 homes for shared ownership, made up of:

• Two 2-bedroom houses

We are looking to submit a planning application in spring 2021, and hope to begin works on the site in summer 2021.

We’re aiming to have completed the new homes by summer 2022.

Rents will be capped at the Local Housing Allowance. These rates are currently estimated at the following levels per week:

• £187.67 for a 2-bed house

To apply for a rented property, you'll need to register with Bucks Home Choice.

The estimated sales value for the 2-bedroom shared ownership homes is:

• £350,000

Buyers will need to purchase a minimum share of 10% at:

• £35,000

We have been working closely with Ellesborough Parish Council and Buckinghamshire Council throughout the development process.

Architects at HFP Architects have drawn up the provisional plans for the site and new homes.

The building contractor and employer’s agent are to be confirmed.
