Hastoe has been shortlisted for the Inclusive Team of the Year Awards at the Housing Heroes Awards 2018 for its Community Space at its Gypsy Traveller site at West Walton Court, Norfolk.

The Space has had a hugely positive impact for the Gypsy Traveller Community at West Walton Court. The unit has become a hub for community services, such as Sure Start, helping to introduce children and families to the local Primary School and encourage school attendance.

It is also used by the local health trust to send health visitors to the site and engage with families and improve access to health services. A new women's group has been set up at the Space to help Gypsy Traveller women learn new skills to live more independent lives.

Hastoe now go through the Housing Heroes finals in Manchester on 25 June.
