Executive Team

Sue ChalkleySue Chalkley FCIH
Chief Executive
Joined Hastoe in 2007. Has worked in social housing for 34 years. Previously Director of Development and Regeneration and Operations Director at Gallions Housing Association and Regional Director (South East) at Housing 21. Her career began in a quantity surveying practice followed by 11 years at L B Bromley, and then five years at Guardian Housing Association, a leasehold specialist.
 
A director of the National Flood Forum, previously Chair of the Association of Retirement Housing Managers (national trade body representing commercial and social managers of leasehold retirement housing) and Chair of Gordon House Association (charity providing residential based therapy for compulsive gamblers). 
 
A member of The Rural Housing Advisory Group (RHAG) - the group's aim is to advise Government on and seek ways to improve delivery of affordable rural housing, promoting joint working between key stakeholders through the provision of a forum for sharing good practice and encouraging innovation.

Business Development Director
 
Joined Hastoe in April 2009 with extensive experience in development and construction, having worked for a number of RSLs and local authorities. His most recent post was as Group Development Director at Swan Housing and his experience includes innovative design and construction and both urban and rural housing. A former chief external examiner in housing degree courses, Kevin has spoken on design and construction issues at national and international conferences.


Will Roberts BSc ACAWill Roberts
Finance Director
Joined Hastoe in 2007 and was Head of Finance for three years before taking the position of Finance Director in 2010. Will has extensive experience in the Housing and Private Sector. He has held senior management positions at First Wessex Housing Group and Moat Housing Group. Prior to that he worked for a private property investment company, based in London, for five years. He has a degree in mathematics and economics from London University and qualified as a chartered accountant with the accountancy firm Deloitte.
 

Anne McLoughlin-FlynnAnne McLoughlin BA (Hons) MIOD MCIH
Operations Director
Joined Hastoe in 2005. Her early career was in housing rights and benefits advice at Nucleus Legal Advice Centre and then running Oxford Citizens' Advice Bureau, before working as an area manager for Stonham Housing Association, a national provider of supported housing. Before coming to Hastoe, Anne spent four years in adult social care commissioning, leading the modernisation of housing people with disabilities in Buckinghamshire.
