Rights and responsibilities

Under the terms of the assured tenancy agreement you may:

• Live in your home as long as you stick to the terms of the agreement
• Take in lodgers
• Pass on your home to a relative or partner, subject to certain conditions (if you did not have it passed on to you)
• Assign (swap) your tenancy with someone else with our permission.

In return, you must:

• Pay any rent and service charge when due
• Keep to the terms of the agreement
• Not use your home for inappropriate activities (see your tenancy agreement for details)
• Look after your home and garden
• Not allow your home to become overcrowded.
