Affordable Rural Housing: A practical guide for parish councils

Hastoe is proud to be a founder member of the National Housing Federation's Rural Alliance and its first publication, a practical guide for parish councils, was launched at the House of Commons in
October 2010.
Hastoe contributed to and part sponsored the latest guide published by HRH The Prince of Wales’s Affordable Rural Housing Initiative (ARHI). The guide is the fifth in a series of guides produced by the ARHI. It explains how business can help with the provision of affordable homes by providing land, finance and expertise, or by making better use of existing buildings and properties.

Graham Hedger, a (former) Hastoe Board Member and current East Regional Committee Member is one of the authors of the report 'Faith in Affordable Housing'. Funded by Housing Justice, the guide aims to show churches how they can work in partnership with housing associations to convert church properties into homes.
