Taking your views into account – customer satisfaction survey

1 September 2008

You may have received a survey in the post this week. This was sent to you by KWEST a market research specialist.

What is it?

This is an independent customer satisfaction poll to gauge your views on our performance across various areas. Most Housing Associations run similar surveys every 3 years and once we have the results from ours, they’ll be compared to other Association results.

Why do you want me to fill it in?

Hastoe places great store on what you, our residents, think of us and our services. However, we know that many people find it difficult to be fully open about things when speaking direct with our staff. So to help us get a full insight into your views, we have commissioned KWEST to carry it our on your behalf. It is completely confidential.

Do I have to fill it all out?

We hope you will complete the questionnaire. However every bit of information we receive will help us assess whether our service is good enough so please fill out as much, or as little, as you can and send it back to us. Don’t forget there is a prize draw for those who return their questionnaire.

What’s the outcome going to be?

We will measure our performance against the national average and identify areas that we need to improve.

To give you an example, in the last survey, you told us what you wanted from our services and as a direct result, we have since introduced the following:

• Paying rent online
• Reporting repairs online
• More information available about energy efficiency and recycling
• The development of a greening strategy

Prize draw

Everyone who returns the form will be entered in a prize draw where they could win shopping vouchers with the following values - a first prize of £100, a second prize of £50 or two runner-up prizes of £25 each!
