Hastoe aims to provide good quality accommodation giving preference to those unable to obtain housing in their local community or elsewhere. Our objective is to promote the development of sustainable communities and so we aim to provide a mix of house types and tenures on our larger developments and will invest resources to set up support and self-help programmes.

We work closely with a number of local authorities to provide affordable housing and these local authorities have nomination rights to certain lettings. Also, where we work in rural areas many schemes are subject to planning agreements, which specify local connection requirements to be eligible for housing in addition to our normal lettings criteria.

Waiting lists operate for many of our schemes. Please see the regional pages on this web site for more information or contact the relevant office for details about applying for housing.

If you are an existing tenant and you are interested in transferring to another property or "exchanging" your tenancy with another tenant, please contact your Area Housing Manager for information and advice.
